Lifespan - 2-4 years
Housing and Bedding - A 2ft x 1ft tank to house a pair or more (max 4) of cause again the bigger space the better if space allows, cages are not advised because they really need to dig. 3-6 inches of chopped cardboard or carefresh for bedding (no pine or cedar)
Feeding - On the shelf gerbil seeds mix, gerbil pellets, 20% fresh vegetables, crickets and mealworms.
Toys - Running wheels for running, coconut shells or ceramic pots for hiding, toilet paper rolls or untreated wood products for chewing.
